The soldiers cleaned the beach near Palmachim Air Force Base, collecting tar and debris in garbage bags.

Soldiers from Special in Uniform a Jewish National Fund-USA, Social Affairs Ministry and IDF joint program for the integration of young adults with disabilities into the IDF, volunteered their time to clean up Israel's beaches following an oil spill that brought tar to the shore in what has been called Israel's worst environmental disaster in recent years.
